Final Festival Prep

Item 1:
Because of the snow days, and because our bands don’t rehearse together very much (only 3 times this year), Mr. Mossett kindly agreed to allow the bands to do some combined rehearsing tomorrow.

1st hour goes to 6th and vice-versa
2nd hour goes to 5th and vice-versa

Item 2:
Students are responsible for making sure their large instrument gets onto the equipment truck Friday afternoon.  Medium and Small need to be carried onto the buses.

Item 3
Please make sure your student’s uniform is intact before Saturday morning. 
Eat before you arrive.  Bring $$ for Concessions 

Item 4
Band Festival is at Madison Heights Lamphere this year.
The departure/performance/return schedule is below
It may look generous.  I promise, it is not.  By the time we arrive, take care of equipment, use the bathroom, and get instruments out, there will be little additional time to get to our warm-up room and start the performance cycle.

Concert Band (9th grade)
7:00 AM Bus Departs
9:50 AM Perform
2:00 PM Band Returns

Symphonic Band
10:00 AM Bus Departs
12:50 AM Perform
4:00 PM Band Returns

Wind Ensemble
12:30 PM Bus Departs
3:35 AM Perform
6:30 PM Band Returns

Item 5
We could still use a few more bus riders for each group.  Please respond to this message or email northern.bands@me.com

Item 6
Students may only be released from a school-based trip to their parents
Student will only be released to non-parents if the appropriate school paperwork is signed (available in office) 
Please don’t ask me to release a student based on a phone call.
