Pop Cans Sunday

Some of the Drumline people are doing a pop can drive Sunday, June 5, to defray the cost of attending the MSU Performing Arts camp in July.  If you live on this end of town, we would be happy to pick up any returnables you have between approximately 2 and 5 PM on Sunday.  Please leave your address below, and we will plan a pickup.

This is a short message from Port Huron Northern Bands, Tuesday, May 27, 2014.

An important survey is online at PHNBands.org in the left hand column.  Please take 10 minutes to complete it.  It is an assignment for class for all students, including seniors.

Seniors, please turn in your band

The band banquet is 6 PM Thursday.  Meal tickets will be sold only until the end of the school day Wednesday.  Meal tickets will not be sold at the banquet.  Tickets are $5, with an immediate family maximum of $20. Tickets will be available at school until 2:45 PM. 

For people needing Driver’s Ed Segment One, Michigan Driving School has set up a special session in August for Northern Band members so that they can get this portion done with little conflict with the school or band rehearsal schedule.  Interest signup is in the band room.  

A second round of band yearbooks will be ordered on Friday.  These beautiful yearbooks can be purchased for $30.  They can be ordered at the banquet or in the band room.  As always, make checks payable to PHN Bands.

Keep calm Band T-shirts will be sold on Friday, First-come-first-served.  These are yellow with blue print with “Northern Bands” printed on back.

Parade down to Pine Grove Park - Play Marches of the Armed Forces

11:30 A.M. Play at Pine Grove Park - Star-Spangled Banner with PH

12:15 Nn Approximate release time.  Please eat breakfast and drink fluids before you arrive!

1. There is a band booster meeting 7 PM tonight in the band room
2. Spring concert series is coming up this weekend.  Your student has been given an handout covering ticketing, uniforms, and concert T-shirts.
3. the Sunday concert is 6 PM, the Monday performance is 7 PM.  Call time for both is an hour beforehand.
4. The Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 26
5. The Band Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, May 29.
6. The Drum Major auditions are Friday, May 30
